On December 30, 2010, the Police & Peace Officers’ Memorial Ribbon Society launched a new, more modern website, making it easier for people to honour Canada’s fallen officers. The website incorporates a Facebook page and YouTube channel, allowing people to leave their personal words for the family and friends of officers killed in the line of duty. Individuals wishing to show their support and honour the sacrifice of these officers can also make a donation online to the Ribbon Society, or purchase the distinctive black and blue ribbon and other related products through the Society’s online shop.
