Earlier in 2025, Tumbleweed Spirits Craft Distillery’s co-owner Mike Patterson, reached out to the Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Ribbon Society with the idea of creating a whisky for the Society. After some consultation, the single malt whisky ‘Final Salute’ was created and sold across Canada. A portion out of each sale was donated to the Memorial Ribbon Scholarship created for the children of officers killed in the line of duty.
The first run of ‘Final Salute’ sold out in a matter of weeks, with Tumbleweed Distillery making a second run of the whisky in the Summer. This run has now also sold out.
The ‘Final Salute’ single malt whisky was a huge success with a large donation being given to the Society. Tumbleweed Spirits has agreed to continue making ‘Final Salute’ in 2026, with the first run being available online starting in mid February 2026. We will let everyone know when it can be purchased through Tumbleweed’s online store.
