Executives of the Police & Peace Officers’ Memorial Ribbon Society are in Ottawa today to formally announce the creation of a Memorial Ribbon scholarship fund to benefit the children of Canadian police and peace officers killed in the line of duty. The Prime Minister and Members of Parliament, Senetors, and other special guests will be attending the announcement, to be made by C. Scott M. Shepherd, the Chair of the Society’s Scholarship Advisory Council.
